As another user noted, the non stick rubs off after a few uses, particularly under the stainless steel blade and off the paddles, so best treat this as a shipping protective coating. It doesn't affect the function at all. Even this early in the year I'm appreciating the lack of fruit flies. I'd certainly consider a full stainless steel version if it came out :) Let me know if you want me to test one ;)
At the moment it is not living up to expectations. Going to give it one more trial.
An amazing piece of kit. My garden is too small for a
Compost bin so this stuff is fine for sprinkling on pots and it smells so nice!
Loving the Kompo. Instructions are ambiguous; need a succinct overhaul. The quick button is confusing as there isn’t an alternative. It would be better if it were called start. I was trying to find the programmes but it is just one button. Once I’d worked this out I’m now comfortable with it.
It really is amazing that it turns everything to dry organic matter.
Our household is loving Komodo, we now compost all food waste every 2/3 days. The machine is easy to use and relatively quiet. The system is quite big and we have a very small kitchen. However, we found space in our garage, so still using the food bin to collect scraps but then transferring to Kompo
